cloth # 11

This is a known older stitch pattern. I just added a simple knit border, it is a fun, quick easy knit. The off set placement of the cables really gives it good texture, great for a washcloth. The cables are easy enough to do without a cable needle :D

Size 8 US needles & Cable needle
50 yards worsted weight cotton yarn
exact gauge is not essential to this project

k = knit
P = purl
C4b = slide 2 stitches onto cable needle hold on back side of work, knit 2 stitches from left hand needle, then knit the 2 stitches off of the cable needle
( )x = repeat directions inside brackets as many times as indicated

Cast on 36 stitches

68 yards worsted cotton yarn
k = knit
lt = skip the first stitch on the left needle. Knit the second stitch through the back loop. Knit the first stitch, slide both stitches off left needle.
p = purl
rt = knit 2 stitches together leaving on left needle, going between those stitches, knit first stitch again
( )x = repeat directions inside brackets as many times as indicated
