75 yards worsted cotton yarn
k = knit
P = purl
Cast on 34 stitches
Knit 3 rows
1 ) K4, * slide needle purl wise into the first stitch, knit the second stitch through the first stitch, knit back loop of first stitch * repeat to last 4 stitches, k4
2 ) k4, purl to last four stitches, k4
3 ) k5, * slide needle purl wise into the first stitch, knit the second stitch through the first stitch, knit back loop of first stitch * repeat to last 4 stitches, k4
4 ) k4, purl to last four stitches, k4
Repeat 1 - 4 until you get the size you want, I went to 7 ½ inches
Knit 3 rows
Bind off, weave in ends.
